Looking for the highest level of protection we offer?
Our focus is on making your vehicle look great when it leaves our shop while also keeping it protected for the long run. We offer ceramic coatings with paint enhancement, 1-step, 2-step, and 3-step paint corrections, as well as wet sanding when needed.
Pricing depends on the size and current condition of the vehicle, along with whether you’re interested in a 1-year coating or a longer-term 3–5 year ceramic coating. If you’re unsure what option is best, we’re happy to help guide you.
A ceramic coating is a liquid resin that bonds to a vehicle’s paint surface, creating a durable layer of protection.
Its main purpose is to protect the paint from everyday debris and environmental contamination while keeping the surface protected longer than traditional waxes or sealants.
Ceramic coatings also provide mild scratch resistance, which can help reduce light swirl marks from normal washing. However, they do not make paint scratch-proof.
Another major benefit is easier maintenance. Because the coating repels water, dirt, and grime, the vehicle becomes much easier to clean and maintain.
How long your ceramic coating lasts depends on the type of coating installed, how the vehicle is maintained, and the environment it’s driven in.
If you wash your vehicle properly, avoid automatic brush car washes, and keep up with regular maintenance, your coating will perform much better and last longer.
At New Clear Image Detailing, we offer multiple ceramic coating options so you can choose the level of protection and longevity that best fits your vehicle and how you plan to maintain it.
In short: Yes, polishing is highly recommended to achieve the best results.
While you aren’t strictly required to undergo a full correction, it’s important to understand the trade-off. A ceramic coating acts like a layer of glass over your paint: it doesn’t hide imperfections—it seals them in. Any scratches, swirls, or oxidation present during application will remain visible until the coating is professionally removed.
At New Clear Image Detailing, we offer different levels of prep work to fit your needs:
Paint Enhancement: Removes 20–40% of light surface defects
1-Step Correction: Removes 40–60% of swirls and imperfections
2-Step Correction: Removes 60–80% for a near-flawless finish
If you’re confident in your paint’s current condition, we can apply the coating as-is. However, choosing the right level of correction is the best way to guarantee a deep, high-gloss finish and long-term protection.
