Hi, I’m Alexander, the owner and head detailer at New Clear Image Detailing. My passion for this work started when I was 16 with my first car — a 2001 Mercury Cougar that I cared for like it was brand new. Even though it was my daily driver, I kept it spotless. That early pride turned into a career that I genuinely enjoy to this day.

Why does that matter? Because I know the feeling of stepping into a clean car and instantly feeling more relaxed. That’s the feeling I want my customers to have — not just “my car looks better,” but “I feel better driving it.”

I’m based in Plainfield, IL, and because I’m fully mobile, I travel to you. Whether it’s a sports car you’re trying to keep pristine or a family vehicle that needs a lot of attention, I give every job the same level of care.

One thing you should know up front: if you’re looking for a fast, in-and-out, 20-minute service, I’m probably not the right fit. And that’s okay. I focus on quality, not speed, and that’s why my pricing reflects the time and detail that go into every job.

I’m part of one of the top online detailing communities in the U.S., and I hold two paint correction certifications, but the biggest lessons have come from being hands-on with real vehicles, real problems, and real expectations. That experience taught me something important: perfection doesn’t exist. So I don’t oversell it. If there’s something I’m unsure about, I’ll tell you right away. Honesty always beats overpromising.

Before every booking, I require a quick conversation with the customer. Not to upsell — just to understand what you want and what’s realistic.
